I am a Kuwaiti who did my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Kuwait University, College of Engineering and Petroleum in 2006 and 2009, respectively. The thesis title of my M.Sc. was "Assessment of Particulate Matter, Nitrogen Oxide and Ozone at Typical Residential Areas in Kuwait". I have worked as a Process Engineer in Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), under the on job training (OJT) program on operation and process control. Also I have been a Research assistant in Petroleum Refining Department at Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) in R&D related to Catalytic Processes in Refining. I was in charge of two projects (ARDS Catalyst Selection: Validation of Performance Assessment Methodology and Deep Desulfurization of Gas Oil Streams from Kuwait Heavy Crude Oils for production of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel).

I am currently doing PhD study funded by the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research and my work involves the synthesis of zeolite membranes for separation processes under the supervision of Dr. Stuart Holmes.
