Stuart Holmes has worked on EPSRC projects involving microporous membranes for cleaner synthesis for industry and studying mechanisms of zeolite synthesis, prior to which his PhD involved zeolite catalysis and deactivation studies. He has now taken up a permanent lecturing position in the UMIST Chemical Engineering Department.
