Post-Doctoral Research Fellow

After spending his Undergraduate years at Oxford University, Sam went to Princeton University to work with Prof. J. T. Groves before returning to Oxford to complete his Masters in Chemistry with Prof. F. A. Armstrong. In 2006 Sam returned to his spiritual home of Manchester to start his PhD with Prof. Mike Anderson as part of the NanoGrowth group and also studying under Prof. Osamu Terasaki at Stockholm University using High-Resolution Scanning Electon Microscopes.

Sam is now working on an EPSRC funded PhD+ programme on the advancement of high-resolution scanning electron microscopy and porous crystal growth spending time at the Centre for Nanoporous Materials and EEWS at KAIST, Korea.
