PhD Student

Salam Alnasi is an Iraqi who was born in 1971 in Baghdad, Iraq. He obtained both his Bachelor of Environmental Engineering (B.Sc Eng.) and Master of Environmental Engineering (M.Sc Eng.) all in Iraq from Al-mustanseria University. Since then he has worked in Environmental Engineering in the Iraqi Ministry of Science and Technology, Baghdad, Iraq, until June, 2009. He is now a Ph.D student in Chemical Engineering, The University of Manchester sponsored by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Salams study involves the development of ion exchange media, Zeolite, to remove radioactive nuclides from wastewater. He enjoys the great scenes in Manchester City and plays football nearly every Saturday.
