PhD Student

Qin Ling was born in Jinzhou, China, in 1983. Qin obtained his Bachelors degree from Tianjin University in 2002. He then continued his Masters study on the synthesis of homopiperazine, which focused on the its preparation over Cu-based catalysts in a fix-bed reactor and evenrually he was conferred the Masters degree by the same university in 2006. His PhD study is funded by China Scholarship Committee and supervised by Prof. Michael W. Anderson, University of Manchester. Qin enjoys reading and playing basketball in his spare time.
