PhD Student

Pak-Yan obtained both his B.Sc and M.Sc degrees at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 1999 and 2002, respectively. As a fresh graduate, he worked as a chemist for 1 year, in the Water and Food department at Lotus Laboratory Services Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia. He then worked as a lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) for 5 years in which his main interests were studying properties of immobilized TiO2 on different supports. Pak-Yan is now pursuing his Ph.D Chemistry with Prof. Michael W. Anderson and Martin Attfield, entitled Nanoporous Materials Synthesis and Characterisation.
