George graduated with his BSc from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2020 before going on to study his MSc at the University of Leeds, where he graduated in 2022 completing a project synthesising heteroleptic metal-organic frameworks. He is now part of the CNM as a PhD student researching the fluorination of metal-organic frameworks under the supervision of Dr Martin Attfield and Dr Daniel Lee. Outside of the lab George enjoys cooking, watching motor racing and supporting his local football team Burnley fc. |
