Mr Florian Hibbe
PhD Student

Florian Hibbe obtained his Diploma in Physics from the University in Leipzig, Germany in 2008, working on diffusion in nanoporous in the group of Professor Jörg Kärger. He continues this work in Leipzig as PhD-student employing interference and IR-microscopy to study in-situ the evolution of molecule distribution during uptake and release processes. His current work focuses on the mathematical analysis of transient concentration profiles and the investigation of transport barriers located at the surface of many porous materials.

Florian is visiting The University of Manchester as part of his PhD to carry out AFM measurements on surface structure of zeolites.
