PhD Student

Matthew graduated from the University of East Anglia (UEA) with a MChem in 2015. During his time at UEA he finished his final year project on the generation of novel compounds based around a potent Wnt/β-catenin inhibitor under the supervision of Dr Sean Bew on the behalf of GlaxoSmithKline. Carrying on his studies at the University of Manchester, he now is involved with the synthesis and study of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for the separation of gases under the supervision of Dr Martin Attfield (CNM) and Dr Flor Siperstein (CEAS). In his free time he reads and goes whitewater kayaking.
