Anaam Al ShaikhAli is Saudi and she obtained her bachelor degrees with a distinction in chemistry from College of Science for girls, King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia in 2004. She has been working in Saudi Aramco since 2006 as a Laboratory Scientist in the Analytical Service Division of Research & Development Centre. She is currently an MSc student under supervision of Dr Amina Ben-Ghalbon, Prof Mike Anderson and Prof Ken Waugh and her study involves synthesising novel nanoporous catalysts with practical applications and testing their efficacy.
