Amy Holmes graduated from Keele University in 2007 with a BSc in Chemistry and Forensic Science. During her undergraduate degree she completed two summer research projects on the study of the effects of microwave heating on zeolite based catalysts, and use of spectroscopic techniques to determine the properties of mesoporous materials. She is commencing a PhD with Professor Mike Anderson on Crystal Growth in Nanoporous Material.
